Dawson is an unincorporated township in the Canadian province of Ontario. Located at the westernmost end of Manitoulin Island, the township had a population of 66 in the 2001 Canadian census.
The township has just one named community, Meldrum Bay. Numerous summer recreational properties are also located in the township. The largest employer is the Lafarge limestone quarry in the west end. Other industries include logging, agriculture, and tourism.
